On the Firm Side
This isn’t the firmest foam roller I’ve ever felt, but it is on the firm side in my opinion. I do have a half circle foam roller that is even firmer than this one and I have to say, I find this one to be more comfortable to lay on when doing my exercises on days when my back is especially tender. It’s a good length for someone to lay on. And it offers decent back support when you do.The surface seems to be made of a material that I wonder about. I’m not sure how durable it will be long-term. There’s already a small dent in it just from having it shipped to me. It doesn’t affect the functionality of the roller, but it is there and I do wonder if more dents might appear over time and use.Overall, I’m very satisfied with it. The weight of it is good and I thought it was a decent price. I’m hoping that as long as I don’t throw it around it gently it will last me a long time.

VERY FIRM FOAM ROLLER GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT
This is a decent roller. I am sure other folks would love it, but it was too firm for me. I was going to return it, but the seller gave me a full refund and told me to keep it. I gave it to my yoga teacher and am very happy with the customer support. Others in yoga class like it and use it.

Great for back release
I bought this at the recommendation of a yoga instructor whom mentioned it after noticing I tend to keep tension in my mid to upper back. After a couple good rolls with a foam roller at the studio, I decided I needed one at home. This provides such a good release for the areas I hold tension. I will say this is best on hard surfaces but it could just be my carpet/pad provides too much give to allow it to work.
