I love this stuff.
It has a really nice flavor and definitely helps to hydrate you. I usually use it before and after a workout. Or any other time I break a sweat. I usually mix my creatine with it after the gym. Especially when I use the sauna. And for the price, you get quite a bit. Even using it every day, it lasts me a couple months. Plus, it has really good clean ingredients. So I definitely recommend it to anyone who works out, or just wants an easily mix able and tasty drink, that will hydrate you and keep you functioning at your best.

Good electrolyte powder, but used to be better
Unfortunately, it seems that the manufacturer recently changed the recipe for the Concord Grape flavor. As several other people noted, the flavor is no longer as strong or as good, and the color is much lighter. While I don’t really care about the color, and it’s nice that it no longer dyes everything it touches, the flavor is definitely a downgrade. Originally I would have given this a 6/5 if I could; that’s how good I thought the flavor was, and being well priced was the cherry on top.With all that said, it’s still a good electrolyte powder. The flavor is still decent and it’s an extremely cost effective way to get potassium into your system. I’ve seen a few complaints about it not having high enough sodium, but honestly you can just add a few pinches of table salt if you’re worried about that. Potassium is the much more difficult mineral to hit daily targets for anyways.I have also tried the Lemon & Raspberry, as well as the Pina Colada flavors. I wasn’t a huge fan of either of those though. While they weren’t terrible, they are nowhere near as good as the Grape in my opinion (even after it’s been changed).Hopefully the manufacturer will go back to the previous Grape recipe, or at least find some middle ground between the current and previous flavor. But if not, it’s still a good deal all things considered.

Another Micro Ingredients Win- Best Electrolytes
Perfect for a breastfeeding mama! After purchasing dozens of different brands of of electrolyte packets, finding many had cyanocobalmin in them and just tasted disgusting , I found these and thought I’d give it a try about a week before I gave birth.I am so happy I did.My milk came in right away. I have had a decent supply since day one and I can honestly say it is because of this!No chalky or back end flavor, only slightly sweet, and can be mixed easily with other beverages without being over powering ( Our favorite is a Spindrift and scoop of these and a splash of lemonade or mango juice)They taste soo good even my picky 4 year old loves it and asks us for them daily- it’s helped us recover quickly from a couple winter colds.When I don’t drink them and I just drink water I absolutely feel my energy and milk levels decrease.Our family goes through a 2lb bag a month and we probably have 5-7 servings a day.So much better than a Gatorade!
