Very pleased with this shaker bottlePros: Great size for smaller drinksTextured grip feature works very well and allows bottle to be more comfortably and easily heldTwist cap is easy to open and close. It’s not a “snap on” cap, it twists to open and close. No leaking.Using a powder mix with milk, all ingredients blend very well, even without using the blender ballBoth bottle and top wash easily. I wash by hand but assume it would do well in a dishwasherCons: The ounce measurements on the bottle are almost impossible to see when trying to add liquid tothe bottle. It would have been better for these to be shown in a white (contrasting) colorThe ounce measurement goes up to 10 oz, then there is the textured grip and the next ouncemarking seen is 17 oz. If the full bottle is needed, this may be a issue for some.

Best Shaker Bottle
I love this shaker bottle! I use it for both my protein powder as well as my greens powder, and this shaker does the trick. It mixes nicely. I have small hands and most shakers usually come in a very wide body. It’s hard to find one that will fit a female hand but this one not only fits perfectly, it has a nice rubber grip, so there is no slipping. The color is a beautiful plum purple. I love this shaker so much, I ordered it in the larger oz size, which also fits perfectly. If you’re considering this one, it’s a solid 5 star in my book! You will love this!

Perfect on it’s own or with other shakers, best for lighter-volume powder mixes
This is sorta alongside my review for the Classic 20oz BlenderBottle, as I bought both togetherThe SportMixer bottle is great for pre-workout mixes, BCAA/electrolyte powders, or other lighter [rather, not as dense/thick as protein mixes or otherwise] powdered drink supplements on the go- having started out with the ol “fork or spoon and cup” option for mixing protein powder or pre-workout mixes (though at first I had a different brand than shown here/could mix those directly into a water bottle easily for the latter) having a BlenderBottle is a game-changer, and a huge improvement for mixing powdered drinks of any kind- not to mention the variety of options (not just color/theme print and size, but also insulated and stain/odor-proof variants, a few different types of locking cap, etc) I mean…wow–But, this review is more specifically about the SportMixer- the outer grip is a nice bonus, and the “locking” cap gives me a bit more reassurance leaving some water in this bottle and throwing into my backpack or gym bag. While some of the other locking caps I’ve seen on other BlenderBottle products look a bit more secure, I’m still pretty confident with this bottle’s seals for keeping lighter/thinner liquids in. That being said….I’m not sure I’d ever put milk in the SportMixer or use it for protein shakes, as that same locking cap seems like a place for milk/unmixed protein powder to hide and become nasty rather quick- but also, I’m not 100% sure of how the plastic would do with some heavier or thicker drinks since it’s harder to clean than the Classic (because of the tapered middle)- but, for water-based mixes and smaller-scooping/easier-mixing powders it’s a great gym or on-the-go companionWhile I haven’t quite tested it this way myself, the grip surface and taper in the middle would definitely help with carrying during a run or on the treadmill, just be sure to scrub the outside along there as well when washing it (hand sweat or condensation from the drink can leave the grip a bit sticky if not cleaned well- at least, it has for me a couple times ._.) The marks along the outside are a bit obscured in the middle between 10 oz and 17 oz, so you may have to eyeball any measurements in between that- I don’t worry *too* much about that myself, but I understand why others would want more accurate measurements.For the size and price, with the more “sport/on-the-go” focused features (the grip, locking cap, flip-down hook, etc) either on it’s own or to add to your BlenderBottle collection (there again, the product line is pretty wide heh) you can’t go wrong with this one ^-^

This shaker bottle works wonderfully! The thick plastic holds up! The shaker mixes the powder so smooth there are no lumps! The twist lid makes sure that it does not leak!

Very nice, but not 20 oz
I really love this BlenderBottle in plum; the colour is absolutely gorgeous, it actually makes me happy every time I use it. It feels great to drink from, much nicer than the wider bottles, and I like the way the screw on cap seals everything up without leaks. The size is perfect for tossing in a bag, but I was a little disappointed to find that it only holds about 17 oz when filled right to the brim, not the 20 oz listed. Still, it’s a solid, good feeling bottle.

Ich habe lange nach einer Flasche gesucht, die einen verläßlichen Verschluß hat. Zu oft ist schon ein vermeindlich geschlossener Verschluss in der Tasche aufgegangen und hat eine Sauerei angerichtet. Oder aber der Verschluß muß so fest geschlossen werden, dass ihn meine Teenagertochter nicht mehr öffnen kann. Oder die Flasche ist gleich undicht, sobald man sie hinlegt.Die diese Flasche schaut nicht nur gut aus und liegt angenehm in der Hand, sie hat auch einen wirklich durchdachten Verschluß. Dadurch, dasss er zugeschraubt wird, kann er sich in der Tasche nur schwer zufällig öffnen. Der Drehteil ist sehr griffig und hat gernau die richtige Größe um ihn gut greifen zu können. Der Verschluß muss auch nicht allzu fest zugedreht werden, bevor die Flasche wirklich dirch verschlossen ist. Und zu guter Letzt ist der Drehteil mit der Flasche verbunden und kann somit weder runterfallen noch verlohren gehen.Die Form der Flasche passt in jede Citybag und die Flasche ist durchsichtig genug, um sofort zu sehen, wie viel man noch zu trinken hat.

This is one of the best shaker bottles I have purchased, and I have been through a lot. I can say it’s definitely leak-proof, the screw top has a far better design that most bottles out there. A bit more expensive that most but it’s worth the extra few quid.

This is a great little bottle for mixing my meal replacement shakes in. Leakproof and it also makes a nice little water bottle. Very easy to clean. Just needs a rinse in warm water. The little carry handle is convenient and I love how the drinking spout twists to open and close. I am considering buying one in each colour for my family.
