Comfortable Material : Sherpa fleece weighted blanket is made of soft and fluffy flannel and Sherpa. The fluffy texture gives you a velvety soft touch
Operating Principle:Each carefully selected glass bead has its own compartment to prevent moving, so that the heavy blanket can evenly distribute the weight
Suitable for People: Weighted blankets can be used not only to keep warm, but also to read, work, rest or give gifts. For friends and family, this is a good choice for gifts
How to Choose Size : Take 8-12% of your body weight for reference. Note: The right weight of the blanket can be concentrated better on the human body, when the blanket is placed on a mattress of the same size, WITHOUT OVERHANGING, which may make you feel like it’s smaller. Please check our size chart before purchasing
Easy Care & Customer Service: Suggest using cold water machine wash or hand wash.It can be dried in the low-temperature mode of the dryer, but it’s best to put a towel in the dryer to protect the quilt. It would be even better if the blanket could be air dried.

Heavy and comfortable
Favorite blanket. Great to use for anxiety- easy to wash. Good value for money. Bought two and we use them often. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping with this- but it’s great for short term use.

Wish I Had Discovered This 50 Years Ago
Consumer Reports recently did a segment on how to get a better night’s sleep and weighted blankets were mentioned which prompted me to do a little research. My takeaway was I wanted to try but didn’t want to spend a lot of money, in case it wasn’t for me. Since this blanket was less than $40 and had very good ratings, came in only one color (grey) which works with my bedroom colors, the only decision left to be made was whether to go with the recommended 10% of my body weight (200 lbs), or to go with the lighter 15 lbs. Some reviewers mentioned getting the 20lb version and saying it was too heavy. I worried that if that was my outcome, I would end up not using it and regret the purchase. So I went with the 15lb option. I removed the extra blanket on my bed (it’s early February) and replaced it with this. As soon as I got into bed and felt the weight pushing down, I knew I was going to LOVE this! I had the best night of sleep I’ve had in years. It’s so comforting, like you’re in a cocoon. I’ve had this for about 10 days now and all I can say is, this is absolutely unquestionably the best $40 I’ve ever spent. Every day now around 5 to 6pm I find myself thinking about bedtime. The last 3 or 4 nights I’ve started to experiment with doubling (folding in half) and then pull back the top layer to different degrees to increase the weight. Doing this takes away wondering if I should have gone with the 20lb choice. I wish I had done this 50 years ago. There is one downside. It’s very difficult to get out of bed in the morning. I can’t wait for the first stormy morning. I imagine it will be nearly impossible to get up! One other thing… it really helps to have the softest sheets you can find. Consumer Reports has the lowdown on that too.

poor packaging, the box is torn
The blanket is excellent, but it will be too small for two people. It has a smell. It covers well and feels heavy and warm. The packaging was poor; the box arrived torn. It’s a miracle I even received it.

It was an investment I appreciate.
My sleep has been so much better! It is equally heavy throughout and nice and warm and comfy.

Not disappointed at all
This blanket did not disappoint. It is heavier than I thought it would be but it puts me to sleep immediately and its nice and cozy and that is all I care about. I got this blanket in purple, a very dark color; when you wash it keep in mind that it might bleed so don’t wash it with any whites, I found it darkened the white backside of the blanket but its not that much of an issues for me, just a heads up.

Best purchase
This weighted blanket has CHANGED MY LIFE! Seriously, it’s the best purchase I’ve made in ages. I’ve always had trouble sleeping, tossing and turning all night. Since I started using this blanket, I’m out like a light! It’s like a gentle hug all night long, so comforting and calming. I actually look forward to going to bed now! It’s almost TOO comfortable, though. Getting out of bed in the morning is a real struggle because I just want to stay wrapped up in its cozy embrace. The thickness is perfect – substantial enough to provide that comforting pressure, but not so heavy that it feels restrictive. I went with the 15lb blanket, and while I absolutely love it, I’m already thinking I probably should have gone for the 20lb one. If you’re on the fence about the weight, I’d recommend sizing up!If you have any trouble sleeping, do yourself a favor and buy this blanket. You won’t regret it! It’s worth every penny and has made a world of difference in my sleep quality. My daughter hates blankets and she be stealing it from me. Seriously, best purchase EVER!!

Decent, but it has its flaws
I got this for a queen sized mattress, I will say that it barely covers a queen mattress when I ordered the queen size. It kind of reminds me of when you buy a queen comforter for a queen mattress and how it like barely hangs over the edge even when noone under it and when you crawl into bed all of a sodden you only have like 3/4 of the blanket you started with. This blanket does’t even go slightly over the edge of the mattress though. I would say that even if it did though, it wouldn’t really work anyways. I got the 20 pound blanket, I’m a 20 year old women, I’m about 5′ 3″-5′ 4″ or so and weigh about 190 pounds, this blanket is no joke on how heavy it is and if it falls off your mattress at all throughout the night it will end up completely on the floor by morning. It came folded up nice and neat in a box, and at that point it was heavy, but not near as heavy as I thought it would be, but when I took it put of the box, all of a sudden it was so much heavier because of how big it was. This thing is pretty much impossible to be able to fold if you can’t lay it flat and fold it in chunks. Don’t even bother trying to fold it up against you like a throw blanket, because you’re really going to struggle and pretty not be able to fold it anyways. I haven’t tried washing it yet, but I imagine that that isn’t going to be easy either considering that it’s 20 pounds without it being wet and even a non weighted comforter is heavy for me to lift out of the washer so…. I did spill some water on it and it took like 2-3 hours for it to dry and it wasn’t even accroosed the entire blanket, it was just in one corner. I do like the weight on it though. I struggle with insomnia and it really does calm and help me relax to help me sleep. I don’t mind the shade of gray the blanket is. I would say it’s a little daker than neutral gray. It is difficult moving the blanket to get under it and to get into a comfortable position, but once you’re in that comfortable position, you kinda just stay there. I wouldn’t mind if I got this as a gift if it wasn’t so heavy. I feel like it comes in a small enough box where you’re not really expecting it to weigh that much. The thing that I like and hate the most about it is the weight of it. I like how the weight of it feels when it’s on you, but I hate the setting up process to get there. It does keep a lot of the heat in though. I’m a person that normally runs a little cold or I’m way to really hot and sweaty, but this blanket keeps me nice and warm throughout the night. It runs about 70 degrees Fahrenheit – about 90 degrees Fahrenheit for the high where I live and probably about 50 degrees Fahrenheit – about 70 degrees Fahrenheit for the low where I’m from in the summer months, I have only been able to use it in the summer months so far because I haven’t had it that long. I do start to get a little bit sweaty about 6-8 hours after I went to bed, so shortly before I wake up I need to take it off because I’m to hot. Where I live though, it gets down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit – 40 degrees Fahrenheit for the low with the wind chill over the winter months and I think that I will be perfect for me then. We only have like 3 months of summer weather a year where I live, so if only works good for me when it’s cold out, that’s still like 9 months put of the year that it will work for me. Overall, I think that it’s a decent blanket for the price but you might want to consider getting ones that weights a little less.

False advertisement, this blanket is nowhere near 15 pounds. When I weighed it, it came out closer to six and a half pounds, only roughly two and a half or three kilos. It is very thin.
