Another great workout “toy.”
My daughter has been enjoying this half‑ball fitness trainer and calls it another great workout “toy.” It’s surprisingly versatile—she uses it for planks, yoga stretches, balance drills, and core‑strengthening exercises. The included Pilates resistance straps are a nice bonus, letting her work her arms and shoulders while engaging her core. She even tried the app‑enabled balance game, which makes practicing stability and coordination more fun. The non‑slip, anti‑burst PVC surface feels secure, and the solid base keeps it steady during use. Inflation was quick with the included pump, and it’s light enough for her to move from room to room. The full set came with everything—ropes, grips, plugs, and instructions—so she could start right away. It’s been a fun and effective addition to her home workouts.

Not what I was hoping for. Pump is useless, as is the user manual.
Since I broke my knee cap a few years ago I still have some issues with balance. So, I thought this balance ball might help me increase balance on my legs.After unpacking it I wanted to pump up the ball. The pump that comes with this ball is so cheap I couldn’t use it. The nozzle wouldn’t stay in the opening by itself. So you have to try to hold it in place which in itself is a problem since you can’t get a grip on the opening. It’s inside the ball basically. And then you have to pump with your other hand. Or, you can try to pump with your foot but the hose isn’t long enough. It’s all very awkward and cheap. Thank God I have a little electric pump for these situations. That worked fine.I looked through the manual which you can basically forget. There is more about how to watch games on your phone while working out than how to actually use the ball. I didn’t get this ball to play games. There are some exercises explained, but the descriptions don’t really make sense. I wonder if they got translated from another language.I have looked at other balance balls and how to use it, and my impression is that the ball is too small and too high to do some of the exercises. Maybe, it’s just me, but I wouldn’t even attempt to stand on the flat side of the ball. I am using it with the flat side on the floor and practice standing on the ball itself with both feet or one at a time. I think it will help me have more balance.In the beginning I used the resistance bands that come with it. For some reason the hooks slid out twice. I didn’t feel comfortable using them. I don’t want to fall and hurt myself again. I replaced the hooks with small carabiners that are more secure. I will use it, but I don’t like it as much as I hoped I would.

It’s holding up well to being stood on by lots of people.Cons: It was kind of difficult to inflate, as the pump isn’t great. The games aren’t great, and better used independently.Honestly, this isn’t quite as high of quality as I would have hoped for the associated pricetag, but it’s an ok product.

Buy it for the equipment, not the game integration
I was hoping for a bit more of electronic integration, but all you do is put your phone on the top of the ball where there is a space for the phone, and sign into some games that they have based on your phone moving around. Although it might help some people, keep on track and keep it interesting, I think there is a risk of stepping on your phone! Also, once you have played the game a few times, you will probably be done. The exercise ball itself is decent. Although you can use it for balance, probably the better use of it for me was using it for a plank position. That also uses the ball for balance, but in a different way.
