The Living Room is Now a Wobbly Wonderland (and My Core is Confused!)
Fellow fitness adventurers and those who occasionally trip over their own feet, let me introduce you to the BOSU NexGen Half Ball Balance Trainer. I saw this thing and thought, “A wobbly dome? How hard can that be? It’s just half a ball!” My balance, apparently, heard this and decided to stage a protest.When this arrived, it was exactly as advertised: half a ball on a sturdy base. It looked innocent enough. I inflated it (which, side note, the included pump makes surprisingly easy, no lung-bursting required), and set it down. It just sat there, looking like a large, slightly smug mushroom.Stepping onto it for the first time was… an experience. It’s like the floor suddenly decided to become a trampoline that’s also on a boat during a mild earthquake. My ankles immediately started doing a frantic chicken dance, and my core muscles, which I previously thought were just decorative, suddenly woke up in a panic. It was less “graceful balance exercise” and more “me trying desperately not to fall over while questioning all my life choices.”BUT. And this is a gloriously wobbly BUT. It’s incredibly effective! Standing on this thing forces every tiny stabilizing muscle in your body to engage. Squats become a whole new level of challenging. Push-ups? Forget about it (okay, maybe not forget, but they’re significantly harder and make you feel like a superhero when you manage one). I’ve started doing lunges on it, which is basically a masterclass in controlled falling.The “NexGen” part with the textured quadrants is actually really helpful for grip and knowing where your feet are (crucial when you’re concentrating this hard on not toppling over). It feels incredibly durable and stable, even when I’m wobbling like a human bobblehead.If you want to seriously challenge your balance, strengthen your core in ways you didn’t know were possible, and add a healthy dose of unpredictable fun to your workouts, this BOSU ball is fantastic. It’s a versatile tool that can make even basic exercises feel brand new and excitingly difficult. My core is confused but appreciative, and my living room is now a place where wobbling is not only accepted but encouraged. I’m thoroughly impressed with this bouncy challenge.

Great For Improving Balance and Strengthening Knees
This thing is solid, looks and works just like the one in my physical therapist’s office. I got this to be able to continue and work on my balance and knees at home. It helps me to do all the exercises I’ve learned on my own. My kids love jumping and bouncing on it. It’s so sturdy, doesn’t seem to matter what they do. It’s definitely worth the price. I like the all-black look compared to the silver and blue.

Great for Injury Rehab, Ski Balance Off/Pre Season Training
Simple and easy to setup. Seems excellent for focusing on balance issues related to a groin muscle injury. Many of my pre and off-season ski exercises also focus on balance and the bosu seems like an excellent way to activate all those little muscles. Used a floor pump to inflate (i had a narrow nozzle) in about 1 minute.Got the ‘new’ gen design made with polypro plastic. Seems very durable and plenty grippy, about as much as the traditional (probably rubber) one at the physical therapist.|The cheapo made-in-china provided pump I wouldn’t use unless absolutely necessary. I’m sure it would take five times as long. And the “included manual and workouts” is a QR code, so yeah, that. But what do you expect? The device itself seems quality

IDEAL BALANCE TRAINER FOR ANY AGE
This Nexgen Balance Trainer is the perfect answer to treating my sciatica in both legs. I can use both sides of the BOSO to practice better balancing techniques, then I can lie down on my exercise mat and lie across the dome to stretch my side and leg muscles and joints. I first discovered the benefits of a BOSU Balance Trainer when I was going to physical therapy to try to improve movement due to the pain of my sciatica. When I first laid across their BOSU Trainer, I experienced stretching and follow-up pain relief that I had not found doing anything else! I went home from that PT session and ordered my own BOSU Trainer. It was a snap to inflate and start using. Oh, by the way, I should tell you that I’ll be 80 yo in December, and I expect this great exercise equipment wil help me age in much better shape.

Adds variety to workout
This is a great addition to my weight training. I do squats, pushups and balance/stability exercises regularly. It seems very durable able to hold my weight (200lbs) plus up to 60lbs in additional weight.

Updated. I took the entire unit apart. I used four layers of Gorilla tape. Reassembled. Still leaks!F^$%#ING JUNK!!!!!STOP READING OTHER REVIEWS! THE CORE COMPONENT, THE PLUG, DOES NOT SEAL AND LEAKS AIR. THEY HAVE INCLUDED TWO PLUGS, I TRIED BOTH, I USED A TOOL TO ENSURE THEY WERE SECURE AND THEY BOTH DO THIS. I FELL LIKE I WAS SOLD A RECALLED UNIT!

骨折して病院でリハビリで使用してたのですが、早く治したいので病院でリハビリがないときもできるように、自分で買って家でも使用して早く治りました。そのあともバランス、体感が鍛えれるので、買ってよかったです。ちょっと高いですけどほんと良い商品と思います。

Une fuite d’air a dégonflé le ballon en 5 minutes, le rendant inutilisable. Un vice caché évident pour un produit censé supporter 136 kg ! Pire encore : SpreetailDE refuse toute prise en charge sous prétexte des 30 jours expirés, malgré la garantie légale de conformité (2 ans, art. L217-4 Code conso). Ils m’ont renvoyé vers le fabricant BOSU, qui m’a renvoyé vers des distributeurs (Artzt, Meijers), qui m’ont renvoyé… vers SpreetailDE ! Un cercle vicieux infernal, avec des refus systématiques et aucune solution. J’ai dû escalader chez Amazon (Garantie A à Z) après des semaines de batailles, pour enfin obtenir un remboursement. Ce vendeur est irresponsable, vend des produits bas de gamme sans SAV, et ignore la loi UE (Directive 2019/771). Évitez SpreetailDE à tout prix – préférez des revendeurs fiables pour ne pas perdre temps et argent.
