Great weighted blanket
Bought 3 of the grey 15 lb weighted blankets. They came well packaged. They were thinner than expected. First night we all slept reasonably well being our legs felt weighted/heavy (followed instructions for those who never slept with a weighted blanket)…totally recommend following the instructions for adjusting to sleeping underneath the blanket.I began having trouble sleeping the second night. My legs and knees began to ache and I eventually took the blanket off. My knees felt much better, which led me to believe it had to do with my artificial knees. I believe the pressure from the blanket was too much for my knees. Now I cannot attest and say that other’s who have had their knees replaced, will have these issues, I just know that for me, the weight on my legs and knees does not work.I returned my blanket with no issues or problems from the company.The other two blankets are very much enjoyed by other family member members. The one family member has found that his restless legs has ceased. Also, he suffers from leg cramps quite often every week. Amazingly, this weighted blanket has actually has stopped his leg cramping, and he sleeps very well! Who would’ve thought a way that blanket would do that! Again, this does not mean that others will not have their restless legs or cramping, stop or ceased to a minimal. I can just attest to the family member and how it has greatly helped him .The third family member has really enjoyed her blanket as well. Loves the blanket!I cannot a test to it being waterproof, nor have I washed the blankets or anything else. I can say that the blanket is soft to the touch and does not slide off the onto the floor. The color is nice and will go with any decor, being grey neutral color.

I love that the squares (2×2) are a perfect size to keep an even balance of weight throughout the blanket.The fabric is soft n also durable, and the stitching is very secure. I bought their duvets because for me it’s easier to wash the cover itself more often than the blanket.

Heavy and great quality.
This thing is heavy! I was just thinking of like a 15lb dumbbell but when it’s spread across a blanket it has a weird way of feeling heavier. It’s really good quality though and if you want a blanket that will help you stay still at night then go no further. I would say the only gripe I have is that it’s not a very cozy blanket which is a little to be expected. I would just suggest using a thinner blanket underneath this one.

Like a hug in a rug
I first slept with a weighted blanket at my friend’s house. I instantly knew I needed one. I searched around for exactly what I thought I wanted; cotton, evenly distributed beads, and a heavy weight. This YnM blanket fit all of those. Once it arrived, I was even more impressed than I thought I’d be. The army color is very rich and luxurious looking. The little squares ensure the blanket weight is evenly distributed, and the cotton cover is soft. Its winter here in Michigan so I do usually put this on top of my comforter, but I can imagine just using this blanket other times if the year. I haven’t washed it yet, but I see they make covers so will likely get one of those soon. It is heavy!!! When I make the bed, I really need to put my legs into it lol. Totally worth it, though, because I sleep so well with this blanket. The research on weighted blankets is pretty good. They increase total sleep time and reduce cortisol. They really do feel like a hug. I’m a fan!

The picture does not due this blanket any justice! I ordered the 20lb queen size magnolia blanket, and it’s beautiful, soft and feels so good when it’s on you, instant relaxation, takes away the anxiety. I can’t say enough good things about it, it’s definitely worth it 💯

I’ve heard about these forever but had little to no interest in them – I love my bed, love my duvet…wasn’t looking to change my game. After learning these were great in reducing anxiety by offering the feeling of being swaddled – I thought I’d give it a go. First sleep – was dead asleep and have been ever since! The weight stops my from toss & turning and then prematurely waking up. I’ve joined the cult and haven’t shut up about w friends & family since.

Unfortunately for us it didn’t work or help our son sleep. We might try again as ir wasn’t cheap and don’t want to have it just sit around. Shipping and price were good though.

If a person likes sleeping with a duvet already, they are going to love a weighted blanket. However, if being hot is a terrible thing, avoid all weighted blankets. Try as I might, even partially covered by the weighted blanket I was a raging furnace. I normally just sleep with a sheet with a thin blanket nearby in case I get the chills. I had a 5 year old and a 10 year old try it. Both ended up stopping using it due to heat issues. My 5 year old girl was able to use it the longest but only during the winter when she was sleeping in the room of which we think the insulation has compressed within the walls (the room is typically 17-19C, 63-67F). Other than that room, our house is kept at a consistent 20.5 C to 21.5 C (69F-71F). This specific product is very well made. I’m impressed! No issues I can speak of.
