I have oily skin, and as I’ve gotten older I’ve started noticing some fine lines, so I wanted to be more consistent about using products that support skin texture and overall appearance. I used this niacinamide serum blend almost every morning and night for about three months.I’ll be upfront that I also paired it with another retinol product, which I used about three times a week at night. I didn’t go into this expecting dramatic results, but I was hopeful it would help, which is why I took before photos after the first five or so nights of use.One of the first things I noticed was how soft & hydrated my skin felt. It almost had a delicate, silky feel to it. I do tend to break out, especially when my eating habits aren’t great, but during this time my breakouts were fairly infrequent aside from the occasional hormonal one. I also noticed that small scratches or blemishes seemed to heal faster, and my overall skin tone looked brighter and less dull.I really like the texture of this product. It applies smoothly and made my skin feel well hydrated without feeling heavy or greasy. It worked well with my routine and didn’t cause irritation.For anyone curious, my routine was washing my face, applying rosewater toner, then using this product. At night, I would follow up with the retinol on the days I used it. Going forward, I’m considering adding a vitamin C or glycolic acid product to help target dark spots, but this has been a solid base product in my routine.I’ve included before and after photos taken under similar lighting to show my personal results.
