Impressive and effective!
We’ve used Tide as our go-to detergent for decades now. I can always rely on its cleaning-power. I ditched powders long ago, and found that the pre-measured pods always had too much detergent for our low-water front loader — it would take constant extra rinses to get the degergent to rinse out properly. For that same reason, though I’ve been using the Tide Free & Gentle liquid detergent for a while, I’ve never gotten the measurement consistently right, and am always having to run extra rinse cycles.All this to say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE these new detergent tiles. Not only do I have a much easier time storing and handling the small, light-weight boxes, but I can feel good that I’m using less plastic and creating less waste! I’ve found that the cleaning power is excellent, as I’d expect from Tide, and that the square tiles dissolve easily and rinse well. I love the consistency in knowing the amount of detergent going into the wash, and unlike the pods, I find it is better portioned for low-water washers like mine.I will say that I wish they added perforations to the tiles, so that we users could easily tear tiles in half (or quarters) for very small loads or hand-wash scenarios.I can’t say enough about how satisfied I am with this new product. I will continue to purchase the Tide EVO tiles exclusively from here on out! Highly recommend!

Tide performance in an eco-friendly package
I love these things. Performance just as good as Tide liquid in my opinion. Eco-friendly as I don’t have to buy a plastic jug to get them, which means I can lower my plastic usage, plus a big jug of water didn’t have to get shipped around who knows how many times. A little on the pricey side, especially if you use 2 tiles for an XL load, but hopefully the price will come down once Tide recovers their R&D investment. I haven’t had any issues with them not dissolving fully. They are very easy to use, but I agree with jeevesnyc, they ought to give them some perforations to make dosing adjustments easier. But they aren’t that difficult to tear or cut in half if needed. I like that I don’t have to lug a heavy bottle of detergent off my laundry shelf too, these are lighter and take up less space.

Good for Travel and Home Use
I bought this for travel. The product worked well overseas and was easy to pack. Tide is a brand that I trust. The product is odorless, which is important to me. I’m now usurping them at home. They clean my clothes and have less negative environmental impact.

I tried these out because I like the smaller packaging and I don’t have that big chunky plastic container to deal with. It seemed to clean my clothes well and the clothes smelled clean. Definitely more expensive than other Tide variations but worth it if you have the money to spend.

Perfect for Travel
No liquid or powder to fuss with. They weigh next to nothing. Cut them into smaller pieces and seal in a ziplock bag, they dissolve instantly in warm water and do a terrific job cleaning travel garments on the road.

Love these! An improvement from liquid / powder
I was so excited to try these and so far they are working great! Here’s my objective review1) we prefer tide free & clear – we have a sensitive skin family2) I used the liquid (would build up in washing machine if someone over poured) and we also used the powder version. I preferred the powder, but it was messy in the laundry room and powder would cake up on the rim of washing machine, which was no fun to clean.3) these sheets go into the drum first, then clothes – they dissolve beautifully- no residue left over to wipe, clothes are clean just as they were with powder or liquid.4) easy to store in a container 🫙- no mess, less waste.5) No more lugging heavy laundry detergent in the grocery store, into car, into house, downstairs into basement.6) no random grease stains on my laundry (liquid detergent would literally ruin my new clothes – they’d go in, tags ripped off, brand new unstained clothes and come out with splotches from liquid detergent, drove me nuts!)7) I pair this with Lysol Laundry sanitizer liquid and it works well during cold / flu season

I first heard of Tide Evo about two years ago and it sounded like the perfect solution to a serious problem. However, it was not available nationwide as they were testing it in Colorado. I hate plastic containers. Powders don’t work well in my washer. I tried laundry detergent sheets (multiple brands) but eventually realized my laundry wasn’t as clean as it could have been. I read a study that showed the sheets were only slightly better than washing in water with no detergent at all no matter what the brands claimed. The Tide Evo tiles are very different. The box is cardboard and recyclable. The tiles are easy to use and dissolve quickly. Best of all, they get my laundry CLEAN! Just like regular Tide detergent. I’m very, very happy to finally have these tiles.

Perfect for Travel
We use Tide Free & Gentle liquid at home but needed something for travel that was not liquid and finding small quantity detergents that are truly unscented in other countries is difficult. These worked really well, dissolved quickly in cold water (visible in a front-load washer) and rinsed completely. One tile worked for small to medium loads in smaller European washers. I have more confidence in the Tide tiles compared to laundry detergent sheets, because the sheets don’t dissolve as readily and don’t seem to clean as thoroughly. I didn’t have to try these in a hand-washing situation so no feedback on that use although you’d either have to cut them into smaller pieces or use more water than would fit in a sink.
