Solgar’s quality and picolinate’s effectiveness prove a great combination
I’ll start by offering the obvious: I am not a doctor, nor a biologist well-versed in the effect of vitamins and minerals on the human body. I can only speak from my own experience and the sorts of results I’ve witnessed after taking the supplement.I have purchased from Solgar before, and I am very pleased with how careful and safely the item is packaged. It’s almost too well packaged in the sense that you’ll have to break through the “armor” they wrap the supplements within. It doesn’t really matter, but I also appreciate the attractiveness of the bottle, as well as the fact they are made of glass and use a metal lid rather than be all plastic. It’s a nice touch.The supplement itself, in my experience, seems to be very effective. I have used other zinc formulas before, such as chelated zinc glycinate, but results have not been as rapid and consistent as with this picolinate formula. Some casual research I did seemed to indicate that zinc picolinate is one of the best ways to go about supplementing your body with zinc, and after taking it for a few weeks now I tend to agree. I can also verify that I have had absolutely zero side effects after taking the supplement, and I’ve done so both with a full and empty stomach.Of course, please do your own research and speak with a medical professional before putting yourself on any sort of zinc regiment. All I can say is that this product works very well for me, and Solgar has shown a high benchmark of quality in their supplements. I can definitely recommend them and this product in particular should you need additional zinc.

Have bought these lower dose zinc supplements in past from a long time reputable brand. Take mainly during winter months and seem to serve me well with no reaction or stomach issues. Will continue to use this amount and brand.
