Great shoes for working on your feet all day
I am a healthcare worker, so I’m on my feet a lot. Hospital flooring is hard on the feet so I need cushion…a lot of cushioning. I also need wide sized for my wide feet. NB 1080s are my favorite work shoes and have been so for over 10 years. I’m not a runner so I can’t speak to that portion of buyers…but for those of us who need a solid, cushioning, comfortable work shoe…these are a great option. I know they aren’t cheap, but I get a good year out of each pair. If you work on your feet in a busy environment then you know great shoes are worth every penny.

Cloud Like Comfort and Secure Fit
Very Comfortable and Decent Heel Support, I also tried to the Asics Gel Nimbus 27 and the Brooks Adrenaline and I found that the 1080v14 were by far more comfortable and secured on my foot. The Padding on the tongue is very cushioned and even when I tighten my laces my feet still feel comfortable. On the Asics Gel Nimbus, there wasn’t enough cushion at the tongue, a lot of ankle rub, and heel was not as secured. On the 1080v14 there was also a great balance of cushion below so it feels like you are walking on clouds; but also not too much like the More model, which can compromise stability. Definitely recommend the NB 1080V14 for everyday use: walking running or training!

    So Comfortable and Very Durable
Very lightweight and comfortable. If you have large/wide feet (I am a 15 X-Wide), New Balance never disappoints. I use custom orthotics, and the orthotics technician says he recommends them often. I spend an hour running on the treadmill 3X a week, and these shoes give me a good 500 miles of use. For the price and the quality, these can’t be beat!

    Improved comfort
I wear either a 15 2e or 15 4e for 1080s or Mores. I bought two 1080 pairs, 1 of each because of the great price. Both fit fine. The 2e fit perfectly as did the 4e. In addition, I found v14 superior to v13 for two reasons: supportive sides by the midfoot (my midfoot slants a little bit to the right, which caused it to hang somewhat on the v13) and a very slightly more firmness, but added bounciness, which made walking more springy but still well cushioned. I had no problem with toe splay on either, nor big toe discomfort. In fact, my big toe felt more comfortable with a little extra extra support. I like these a lot better than Mores. I don’t feel like I’m constantly slogging through mud on elephant feet. Plus I prefer them to the ASICS Novablast and like them as much as the Saucony Hurricane (the most forefoot room of all). Neutral and supportive make no difference to me as a walker.

I wanted to love these so bad…
This is a max cushion shoe. Great for hanging out and going to the store. For me, personally, they are too soft for running or walking. Feels like walking in quicksand. It seems to take too much energy to rack up miles…it’s like slogging through mud. They look fantastic…they are super comfortable. I need shoes with a bit of stability, and these really have none of that, so I always felt like I was sliding off the inside of the shoe. If you need a neutral shoe, and you like the max cushion…then you will love these. These are a really great show, they just were not for me due to being too soft and not enough stability.

    Worth every penny
Got these for my son when he went on his DC trip for school. Said they were amazing. No pain in his feet and could wear them all day and night. They helped his arches as well. Fit great runs true to size and the style is nice

  7. Sokcap48

    Comfortable
Really comfortable. Great for my morning walks. Best shoe I have ever worn . I have two pair and love them both. I think they are more comfortable and stable feeling than the pair of other “shoes to have” that are all the rage right now.

  8. SM

    Very comfortable
I’ve had shoes that were so stiff, so the next shoe I made sure was super flexible, and I learned the hard way too flexible will injure your foot and not give protection. Never understood this protection being talked about until it happened. Had problems with shoes not having cushion so I went to a running shoe store and tried everything. I found out the Asics nimbus was much softer than even Hoka bondi 9, but due to so much cushion it doesn’t give much support which resulted in my feet getting tired and hurting faster than expected. It felt big and heavy. The Bondi 9 feels really big and heavy also. This 1080 v14 hit the sweet spot. Soft cushion with decent bounce back. Not like the asics novablast that hurts my sensitive feet due to being nothing but bounce and not much shock absorption. The 1080 is not super flexible where it doesn’t protect your foot, and not stiff where it hurts. Just the right amount of stiffness. Needed this for work. Will be walking standing, picking up things, pushing, and sometimes running.Hope this helps someone so they don’t make the same mistakes I did.

  9. Paul

Best running trainers I’ve ever had. It’s like running on a perfectly bouncy cushion. Great for knees! Also fit perfectly like all NB trainers I’ve had.

  10. ALBERTINO

Excelente tênis, muito confortável. Vestiu bem número 39, para corredores pegar um número a mais. Ele tem uma estrutura bem robusta e design muito bonito. Realmente muito confortável. Usarei para caminhadas.

  11. khadeejath1977

    Good for running. Comfortable.

  12. Keopscaco
