Worthy of all those stars and more!
There are two makeup products that I cannot live without, and they both happen to be Lancôme. I don’t buy expensive makeup. I almost exclusively wear Neutrogena products. However, I will gladly spend the money on Lancôme makeup primer, because it is worth every penny. My skin feels like silk after I apply it. My foundation spreads so much easier, stays on longer, and requires less foundation for a full coverage look. I no longer need mid-day touch-ups. And again, I also don’t need to use as much of my foundation as I did with other primers to achieve the same look, so it saves me money in the long run. It minimizes my pores, and for me, prevents breakouts. (I’ve had some issues over the years with Rosacea-type flareups, cystic acne, and yucky blackheads on my nose.) This primer is a MUST for me! I’ve tried DOZENS of other primers, and none of them can even hold a candle next to Lancôme primer.The other Lancôme product I swear by is Lancôme Cils Booster XL lash and mascara primer, just in case you were wondering. That stuff is worth its weight in gold, as well!

La Base improves the finished look of foundation on complexion
Lacome îs high quality and pricey but worth it. La Base is applied after cleansing, toning, and moisturizing, to provide a smooth base for foundation. I was skeptical when I first tried this product. I wasn’t sure that it would really make any difference. It does make the foundation smooth on more evenly and give a much improved finished result that looks healthy and natural. I’ve been using for years.

This is definitely a face pro perfecting oil primer prior to using foundation. this product goes on smoothly and I see a difference when applying my foundation.

Love it…except for the bottle
I love this primer but I do wish they packaged it in a sturdier bottle and that it wasn’t so hard to get it out once you get towards the bottom. Mine wasn’t pumping out well and I thought it was because it was mostly gone because I’d have to pump it several times to get the right amount. Well, after I accidentally knocked it off my counter and it shattered I realized there was a lot more still in there than I thought! Overall the product itself is great but the packaging could definitely stand to be improved. I know it’s aesthetically pleasing being in a glass bottle, but there are a lot of us butterfingers out there that need something sturdier.

Love Lancôme.. wish I could afford the whole skin and makeup line. The primer (only could afford) makes your face feels like silk, makeup goes on smoother! Give it a 10 stay

A Primer That Finally Works!
Using this for the first time and my skin loves it. I have tried other primers with no luck. Most made no difference at all. This has a silky consistency, going on smoothly with no clumps. My make up now has a more finished look, but it still looks natural. I am pleasantly surprised and very happy!

I’m loving this primer. It keeps my makeup in place all day! It’s similar to Benefit Porefessional and the Smashbox one.. but I think I like this the most. I also love the glass bottle, luxe packaging and the pump. Which is easier to use than the other primers mentioned in their squeeze tubes. I feel like there’s more product here too? Overall fantastic silicone based primer.

This is a wonderful product. Leaves your skin feeling very soft and it doesn’t peel off when you apply your makeup. Lasts all day, even when you sweat, my makeup looks great. Would highly recommend!
