    Fitbit
Battery life is long. I cannot function without it.

    Not waterproof
I like the product and its functionality, however- you’re supposed to be able to swim with it and I got in a pool a couple of days ago and it died almost immediately. I don’t have the packaging it came in or even the original wristband because i’ve been using it for a few months now, so i can’t even return it.

    Welcome back to Fitbit…
Okay…others have been disappointed with the condition, sorry the one I received looked brand new right out of the box (without the Fitbit outer sleeve) came with two charging cables, large and small bands all the paperwork included. I used to wear a Fitbit 2 and with my eyes I would need readers and the right light just to see the time…hated it…stopped use it years ago. This Fitbit 5 is amazing, bright and clear time, date and steps with just a flip of my wrist…I able to see this in bright sunlight with sunglasses on with no readers…HELLO Fitbit I’m back…always loved the app…Needed to be charged, but then was EZ to set up even for an 66 year old man and got my 10,000 + steps in for day number one.

Good functionality, sleek design, good battery life; two year life span
This is Fitbit #4 for me. The batteries last about two years, and once charge capacity dips below a certain level, the devices malfunction. Displays won’t illuminate. IP67/68 water resistance rating should be rated for swimming (it tracks swimming workouts), but one Fitbit leaked. Avoid hot and/or soapy water, and it shouldn’t be an issue (don’t shower/bathe with it on). Keep it clean (no solvents/soap), and wipe down/dry when wet or after workouts to make it last longer. Common sense things.Mediocre things aside, the Fitbit does what it is supposed to do: continuous tracking of HR, motion/steps, O2 saturation/oximeter (when sleeping for at least 4-5 hours), sleep quality, rate of respiration, skin temp (gives a variance, not absolute reading), and heart rate variability, in a slim, sleek package with a bright OLED display that stays continuously powered for multiple days between charges (when battery health is good). As long as the user is okay with replacing it every 2-3 years, the Fitbit Charge works.

    Great fibit
I bought this refurbished fitbit and it works like it’s brand new. I couldn’t be more pleased with the features and sensitivity of the device. It picks up all activities and gives seemingly accurate sleep details. I previously owned a fitbit 4 and a sense. This one overall is my favorite. I know they have a 6 now, but this 5 has all the features I was interested in and exceeds my expectations and needs. It’s very easy to set up and you can also swim with it up to a certain depth. Also, I’ve accidentally banged it against a few things and it has held up very nicely, so it seems very durable for those who may have much more active lifestyles.

    Works till it doesn’t
Buy this is you want to have a pretty nice tracker for 18 months & then have to buy a new one

    Great fitbit
I’ve had fitbits pretty much since they came out, I love them. Unfortunately while I was in vacation in the Dominican Republic my fitbit stopped working, (I may have been swimming too long with it on). I ordered a new one and so far love it!

    Worked great until it didn’t
I ordered this Refurb FitBit on 02.03.2024 and it worked GREAT until today (05.01.2024) – less than 3 months if you need help with the math.It will charge just fine, but the entire charge wears down in approximately one hour. Prior to today, a charge would easily last for 4 days to a week sometimes. What now?? Good question. I love the app and the interface between the device and the app. But – it defeats the purpose if I have to sit all day hooked up to the charger. And – I’m past the 30 day return window.
