    Wow. Honestly.
I wish I had thought to take before/after photos of the KP I’ve dealt with on my thighs for most of my life. I have tried several other (and, in many cases, more expensive) products that claim to specifically combat KP over the years. Some of them even include many of the same ingredients as FAB’s KP eraser scrub. Many exfoliants or acid acne treatments have similar components as well. I have to tell you, though: I never, not even once, noticed any positive change or results from using other products that claimed the same target.** Please note that KP is not the same thing as enlarged pores, folliculitis, razor bumps, dry/itchy winter skin, or body acne; eczema, psoriasis, allergies, and infections (fungal types or ingrown hairs can become infected) can overlap, exacerbate, or mimic symptoms and appearance, but KP is it’s own thing, usually genetic, that causes excess keratin to build up around and sometimes block a hair follicle. You may see some improvement or not if you have another condition and are using this to help. If you have a chronic skin condition of any kind, see a dermatologist or other expert to know for certain what you’re dealing with, before attempting to treat your skin. **My KP was much worse in my youth on my extremely fair skin. I resigned myself early in life to never really showing my legs unless forced. Now that I’ve tried this, I actually stand a chance of wanting to wear a pair of shorts one of these days and not feel nearly as self-conscious. I noticed an immediate difference in the texture of my skin and the reduction of my more troubling KP bumps where the keratin plug/hair follicle was particularly noticeable or pigmented and raised. FIRST USE RESULTS. And I’m not so easily impressed, but I’ve been loving it more and more as time goes by, so it wasn’t simply honeymoon phase. The exfoliant has what I can only describe as a gritty, almost cement-like texture and appearance straight from the tube, a little stiffer than toothpaste and salt mixed together, less granular than sugar scrubs to me. You don’t need a lot of it even for large problem areas — it has good mileage/coverage — and you don’t really need to scrub to death (in fact, not recommended; this buffs away what needs to go and includes pumice bits so you don’t necessarily need a pumice stone or anything). I use it on the areas in question or affected and nowhere else — I have body washes and other such stuff for the rest of my body… This is made for KP and that’s what I target. The first time, I used maybe a half-inch amount on each inner thigh, spread it gently with my fingers, and then used my pumice stone in small light circles over the most troublesome areas. Since then, I’ve only been using my konjac sponge, and a little less product overall. I go through the rest of my shower routine making sure to wash it away properly but I don’t use other exfoliants or scrubs on these areas. I have sensitive (redhead) skin and don’t want to make it any more sensitive and prone to sunburn than it already is without the help of a vague chemical peel. Still, twenty minutes after showering, I can feel the areas tingling lightly, and that’s how I know the magic is truly happening at the level it needs to be happening on. It doesn’t burn, itch, or irritate at all, and doesn’t leave any dryness or any build-up in it’s wake. It also doesn’t have any detectable smell. Even though I could still see the more irritated, raised KP bumps, the texture and feel was so remarkably different and reduced, I could hardly believe my fingers. For me, this is huge, because if I can FEEL the bumps, I’m prone to picking at the larger ones until I’ve gone from little keratin bumps to full bloody sores.Using this scrub about twice a week, for almost 2 months now, I’m amazed at the new texture of my troubled areas. I’ve even noticed an overall reduction in the development of new plugs which I thought would never be the case. Yes, I tried it once on a rough patch at my elbow and it smoothed it out, as any good exfoliant likely would, but I’m not wasting this miraculous stuff on anything but my KP bumps.

    This stuff is amazing!
Don’t sleep on this ‘bump eraser’. The unscented one is kinda stinky but doesn’t leave any smell on your skin after it’s rinsed off. I have used this from head to toe, even on my 46yr old sensitive face. It’s great. The pumice in it does not dissolve so a little goes a long way. If you use it on your face DO NOT RUB TOO HARD! And follow up with a gentle cleanser like cetaphil or cerave, trust me. I have used physical exfoliates regularly for years (St. Ives, Botanic Tree, Orlane B21 and more) and this is my new favorite (mostly because Orlane is so $$). It works on elbows and feet and knees and anywhere else you want a good scrub. My skin feels so good after using it. Just make sure you moisturize!!

please don’t ever stop making this
alone, this is less helpful for my kp specifically than a homemade scrub with only coconut oil + coffee grounds. it does absolutely nothing for the redness in particular. however, i love it anyway. i have kp on basically the entirety of the sides of my body head to toe and my backside, and a lot of other roughness from medical issues and climate. because of this i’ve always loved the scrubbiest scrubs i could find, and this is absolutely one of them. my moisturizer really sinks in well and is able to work its best after i use this. it’s fantastic for feet and cuticles! by itself it doesn’t do much for my kp, but if i alternate with my coffee scrub they seem to work super well together. so i will keep using both, happily 🙂 my redness seems immune to help after 30 years of fighting it so as long as my skin feels sufficiently smooth, i’m satisfied.my biggest complaint is that it is very hard to clean off from my skin and shower, i have to wash both a couple times afterwards and i’ll still find grit laying around and stuck under my fingernails anyway. but it’s worth it. also, for me, if i shave within a week of using this stuff, afterward it BURNS so bad and turns so red and ugly ONLY when i put lotion. coconut oil is no problem though. i don’t have this issue with any other scrub or aha/bha product and none of my lotions irritate me otherwise. fortunately i don’t shave much, but i was hoping this would help with ingrown hairs when i do so that’s disappointing. i am admittedly very sensitive, but ironically have never been sensitive to sandblasting my skin off, so idk what’s going on there.also THANK YOU thank you thank you a million times for making it fragrance free!

    Softener and Clearer skin
Been hearing about this product and decided to get it and I’m loving it! I’m happy with the results I use it once a week because I have sensitive skin and my skin is softer and clearer. I just love it😍

Medium coarse exfoliant for less sensitive parts
Half way through using the tube. Definitely have less arm and leg bumps. Skin tone did become lighter while using. Could be the ingredients or just the repeat exfoliation.Does have a slight smell to it but not overpowering. Smell does not linger after product has been washed off and dried.Granules are mid course to me. Tried a little on my face and it was not gentle enough. Good for legs and arms though. Worked really well on exfoliating my feet.

    The tube was almost empty
First of all, this product is the best product I’ve ever use, it really erase body bump and end the strawberry skin look, no doubt about that. The reason why I give 3 stars was because of the amount of the product inside the tube, I was really shocked when I realized that more than half of the tube was empty 😭, I bought this on discount and was very happy but I got what I paid for, I got the amount for what I paid for. Very disappointed.

    Definitely a Keeper!!
This scrub has worked wonders for my husband’s keratosis pilaris on his arms. After just a few uses, the rough “chicken skin” bumps were noticeably smoother and less visible. It exfoliates really well without being too harsh, and his skin didn’t get irritated or dry afterward. The AHA blend makes a big difference, and a little goes a long way. We’ve tried a lot of products, and this is the first one that’s actually made a noticeable improvement. Definitely a keeper.

  11. Lila

I’ve been using the First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser Body Scrub for my KP and I actually like it even though it doesn’t completely remove the bumps. It makes my skin feel much smoother right after using it. The texture of the scrub feels nice on the skin.It hasn’t completely cleared my KP but it does help improve the texture and overall feel. My skin feels smoother after using it.

  12. Damelys Vidal

    It gets the job done.
