All I wanted was a simple, accurate heart rate monitor. It works great for my preferences, chest strap to watch. Perfect. No wifi or stuff I don’t need. Has the time. Works great.

Only works when it wants to!
Worked great on the first day! But after taking it off I realized that it has no power button (on both the watch and the chest monitor) Put it on the next day and it would not connect at all. Tried all the tricks, moisture, “restart” button that doesn’t work, removing the battery from the monitor… nothing! Tried it again the next day. Just put it on and left it for about 10-15 min. and it started working again. Today I have had it on for almost an hour and it will not connect! Waste of time and money.

It’s a tossup. Update: It Works!
Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work while riding my bike. Very frustrating. Update: My mistake was that I assumed it worked like a Polar heart rate monitor and placed the strap center monitor in the middle of my chest. You need to place the center of the strap monitor (at least for me) under the heart. Then it did not miss a beat! The connection to the strap itself is still problematic, but it eventually can be secured.

The battery in the chest strap was dead when I opened the box. I have tried to get my heart rate 3 times now riding my exercise bike and have never gotten a reading. Complete waste of my money. Indtructionscare useless.

If all you’re looking for is a basic heart rate monitor this is it. It does a good job and for the price it’s hard to beat. The way the strap attaches to the chest sensor isn’t the easiest to put together but once you’ve done it a bunch it gets a bit easier. The watch also needs to be pretty close to the chest strap to get the signal connected. It’s hard to beat for $50.
