These shoes are great value for the money. If you work in Healthcare they are very durable, have great support and are very comfortable for long days. True fit to size. They are waterproof as well.

Great Shoes
Used these shoes for a half marathon and shoes feel great when running. Very comfortable and they’re waterproof. I would only say I slight more cushion would be nice. But overall a very good shoe.

Comfortable with great arch support! Tendency to be a little stinky…
I got a pair of these (in women’s) after extensive research on the brand and shoes. I loved that they offered such good support, I stopped constantly twisting my knee like I kept doing in my other shoes. I can walk in them all day without my feet hurting a bit.When my husband made a comment that he thought he needed new shoes because he didn’t feel like his had any support anymore, I thought I’d treat him to a pair, too.He wears them constantly, and has commented that they’re really comfortable, secure feeling. They’re priced a little high, but worth it for the excellent support.There is however one thing about them that I don’t like. Not sure if it’s the lack of ventilation due to them being waterproof, or weird materials used? Whatever the reason, they seen to make feet smell funny. It’s not noticeable while you’re wearing them, but when you take them off they stink until they sit for a bit to air out. Neither of us normally has stinky feet in our other more ventilated shoes, so this was new to both of us. I’ll leave it at 5 stars because the comfort and support makes up for it, but it’s a downfall.Thankfully, no one has teased us for having nearly identical shoes.

Brooks Ghost Great Shoe
Good fit. I wear a 10.5 in most brands. These are just a little bit larger 10.5 than I am used to. My foot slides a little. The shoes are comfortable. The color is a nice addition. The support is ample. I wear these all day in the clinic setting with no discomfort issues. Would buy again.

BROOKS GHOST 16 GTX SIZING?
I ordered and received, after a 7 day delivery time, the Brooks Ghost 16 GTX. The shoes fit extremely narrow across the mid foot and forefoot. They were shorter than my previous 11-1/2 M (D) width running shoes. The day I received these and determined that I could not wear them, I ordered the regular Brooks Ghost 16 in the same 11-1/2 M. In a direct comparison with the Ghost 16, I found the GTX to be at least one width size more narrow. Unfortunately, like the GTX, the Ghost 16 was as well, too short. Both had to be returned. I took the time at a local retailer to try on the Ghost 17 in the same 11-1/2 M , and did not find it too narrow or too short. As some other reviewers have concluded, it would appear that including the Gortex moisture barrier, the interior of the shoe fits considerably smaller. Before ordering the Ghost 16 GTX, one might want to size them by trying them on or order a width wider and increase length a half size.

Had to replace my ageing Brooks Levitate 2, and these have been an excellent upgrade. They feel very bouncy and responsive, with build quality that shows Brooks’ QC is still strong. They are a significant investment, but the comfort and feel are excellent. I can’t speak for longevity yet, but if my old Brooks are anything to go by, they should last a good while. Also pleased they are noticeably lighter than my previous pair. You only realise how heavy the Levitate 2 is once you switch.Looks are subjective but I think the all black design here is gorgeous. Nice to have a running shoe that doesn’t scream “look at me”.
