Gentle and effective for sensitive skin
This Almay gel deodorant works great and is perfect for sensitive skin. It goes on smoothly, dries fast, and has no fragrance, which I really appreciate. It keeps me fresh all day without irritation. A great option if you need something hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested.

This is the first time I tried this product, and I must confess I’m impressed. It has no scent, which means no burning! Since we got hit with a heatwave this week, it was an excellent time to put the product to the test. It works, and it comes at a very affordable price – that’s a bargain. It is a clear, soft gel that glides on easily, and I actually use less than the perfumed ones. No more itching and burning! I’ll keep buying it, and it’s on Subscribe and Save.

Does not irritate my skin!
After getting chemical burns and developing contact dermatitis from using brands like Secret and Suave, I decided to try this one out. So far, I have not felt any itching or any type of allergic reaction. It does its job of preventing sweat and odor but a little still peeks through when I go to the gym but when I’m just lounging around at home, no smell. My only complaint is that it doesn’t dry well. It leaves a wet feeling that makes your skin stick together when you lower your arm and when it does dry completely, it gets flakey and looks like you have dandruff coming from your armpits lol

Prevents underarm boils!
38 year old male here writing about almay sensitive skin deodorant. To understand this review, background can be helpful. About 4 years ago, I began to have painful boils under my arms. I sweat profusely, however, nothing was medically wrong with me. I attributed it to age and skin changes. I had been an avid user of old spice antiperspirant and axe antiperspirant for 20 years prior – with no problem whatsoever until the boils. Large, red bumps would form deep under my armpit skin. They were unpoppable, unscratchable, and a plain nuisance. So began my search for a better deodorant. Men and women’s “natural” deodorant exacerbates symptoms, as does any product with an exorbitant amount of chemicals. A doctor can’t provide you with a solution except blocking pores completely.This product, almay sensitive, does not block your pores at all. This product is what feels like an exterior coating on the skin that is clean, clear, non-stick, and non-scent. Proper application helps reduce some swear, but not all, which is a good thing anyway. It does reduce odor smells. Prolonged use will help reduce and perhaps eliminate all boils.With the above being said, i have used this product successfully for about 3 years. I refuse to switch from this product. BE ADVISED that if you do not treat the boils first with a wash of rubbing alcohol, pat dry, air dry and application of neosporin cream, then this product can’t be expected to work effectively in the long run. BE ASVISED that over-application May also be detrimental – also do not reapply within that day.Lastly, and most importantly, giving up on the product (without giving the above pointers consideration along with serious effort for 1-2 months) invalidates this entire review for you. Try it for your sanity.

Deodorant is excellent and glides on smoothly and softly. My favorite and am so glad I found it on A,axon, as a lot of stores do not stock this one.

Completely unscented, very good at stopping sweat
I love it! It has absolutely no smell, which makes it perfect for when you want to wear perfume/cologne without it mixing with the scent of deodorant. It also works really well and I barely sweat with it on. When it first dries it leaves a crusty residue, but when I put it on at night before bed, the residue is gone in the morning. It also only takes around 10 minutes to dry, which is very convenient. It lasts all day as well.

After having problems with all deodorants I’ve tried over the years, I stumbled across this one, and as it was fragrance free and by Almay, a brand I trust, I decided to give it a try. I read a review by someone else with the same problem as I have with deodorants, ie., sore itchy underarms after using for about 3 days, and it was mentioned that these Almay ones didn’t cause a problem. There is another Almay one here on Amazon so I ordered both. Happy to say, so far so good, no problems. So, my thanks go to the lady who reviewed either this one or the roll-on one, and thanks to Amazon for including Almay in the listings.

Me and my family have been using it for a few years. It is a truly great antiperspirant (this isn’t a deodorant since it does contain aluminium which blocks the sweat while a deodorant is a perfume product which hides the smell of sweat but doesn’t stop the sweat), it’s a clear gel so it doesn’t leave a residue like a creamy antiperspirant does, it doesn’t have a smell which is great for people who are sensitive to fragrances (which aren’t only irritating to your skin but can disrupt your hormones too!), the other ingredients are all gentle, even the form of aluminum used is a large form of aluminium salt which isn’t as irritating and penetrating as other aluminium salts. However, like for all antiperspirants, you have to use it right to make sure it works at its best! You have to wash first very well your underarms every night, then you have to dry very well the underarms before applying the antiperspirant in multiple passes up, down and to the side, apply to all the underarm area, not only “two swipes in the middle and done”. I do that and I only have to do it at night after my shower and i don’t have to reapply during the day at all! No sweat and no smell. When you reapply on already dirty and sweaty underarms, an antiperspirant won’t work well! It has to be after a shower, after you drying all the underarm area very well with a towel! If you do it this way, I swear pretty much any antiperspirant will work well, but this one is even better because of the gel form and the great gentle ingredients. Totally recommend!
