I was searching for a sleeping mask with an adjustable strap as my last one didn’t have one and I was fed up. It was so uncomfortable to sleep with. This one is perfect! I love the adjustable strap, and the material is so soft and comfortable. It blocks out light, it is good quality and affordable. I’m very happy with it!

Stretch Band (non-adjustable version) too tight for my head
I liked the eye portion of this set – comfortable and cushioned and effective at blocking light – doesn’t touch your eyes – you can blink freely. However the stretch band (non adjustable version) was way too snug. I have a normal sized woman’s head and while it stayed in place fairly well I would wake up with either a tender scalp or ears (depending on where I had placed) every morning. The stretch band is wide and silky – that part is nice but just too snug. Not really the products fault that it’s too tight but wanted to mention it.

This is a review for 3 different silk sleep mask products I ordered all at the same time, which I picked out based on information from both sleep mask review sites and amazon reviews.Alaska Bear Silk sleep maskJimoo Silk sleep maskBeeVines mulberry silk sleep mask (2 pack)The design of these masks are all very, very similar. Their size, shape and strap adjustment are all nearly the same with only minor differences. As one might expect, because of this I found all of them performed basically the same.Common complaints I noticed when looking at sleep mask reviews were:- Dye from mask bleeding on pillow/face.- Strap adjustment plastic being uncomfortable as one’s head laid on it.- Mask putting pressure on the eyes from being too tight.- Light bleeding in/ under mask around nose, or through the mask itself.Addressing the common complaints of this style of sleep mask mentioned above:- I have had no issues with any of the 3 products bleeding dye. I wash them in room temperature water with soap nut liquid, rinse, press (not wring!) the excess water out and hang to air dry.- The plastic strap adjuster can be a bit uncomfortable at certain angles, depending on where it is and how you tend to lay your head when sleeping. See more details under the specific product reviews.- At first I also thought this was an issue, because I hadn’t loosened the adjustment strap enough. You really want to loosen it more than you think you do, it’ll stay! For me I found once it no longer put any pressure across the eyes it was about right. There is a slight trade off of the mask shifting a little if you toss your head around a lot during the night but it’s easy to shift back in place even if you’re mostly asleep.- There is a slight bit of light bleed around the nose, most noticeable if the mask has shifted to one side or the other during sleep. It’s generally not been an issue unless your sleeping under the sun/ very bright light, or the light happens to be angled low such that it’s coming from your feet up towards your face. There’s been no issues with light coming through any of the masks.As for specific things to note about each one:Alaska BearNatural Silk Sleep Mask, Blindfold, Super Smooth Eye Mask (White)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L8RYFWF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1Of the 3 this was the only one with a small ID tag sewn into the side near where the strap attaches. It hasn’t gotten in the way or been noticeable. There’s several cute patterns/ embroidery options, but it was the most expensive of the 3. The adjustment strap size is the same for Alaska Bear and Jimoo. As such the plastic adjustment mechanism is at the side of my head on this one and not as comfortable for side-sleeping.

Soft, comfortable and works well
I got this because my boyfriend loves to have the tv on while he sleeps, but I like the room quiet and dark, so I sleep with ear plugs and wanted a sleep mask for the light. When I first got this and opened it up, I was amazed with how soft it was. I couldn’t stop touching it and was really excited to use it.It’s a straightforward product so you just put it on, adjust it if needed for tightness, and voila. The only thing that’s been an issue for me is that it slips off of my hair as I move in my sleep. So maybe half of the time, it comes up off of my eyes and over my forehead. This is more because of my tossing and turning and long hair, so it may not happen for everyone. I’m very pleased with how well it shapes to my face and blocks out any light without being heavy or burdensome. Definitely recommend it for anyone that needs a light-blocking sleep mask.

Super great sleep mask, easy to hand wash, makes me really hot if I don’t put my hair up
I love this sleep mask. The silk is so soft, the design is beautiful, and it’s very comfortable no matter what position you’re laying- bonus points for side sleepers like me. It’s very easy to hand wash with a little bit of delicate detergent. You’re not supposed to put silk in the dryer but I’m impatient so I toss in in the dryer alone on low heat after gently pressing most of the moisture out of the mask with a towel. It dries in only a few minutes (I haven’t timed it but I don’t think it takes longer than 10 minutes?) and I have done that 4 times without any damage or shrinkage whatsoever.My ONLY complaint is that the mask can get a bit hot. Maybe that’s just a sleep mask thing, I’m new to wearing one so I don’t know if that just kind of comes with the territory? I have long, think wavy hair that I blow out smooth so if I don’t toss it in a ponytail for bed, I wake up sweaty which causes my hair to wave and frizz. That’s my winter solution so I’m a tiny bit worried it will be too warm in the South Carolina summer even with my hair up.TLDR- Super great sleep mask, easy to hand wash, makes me really hot if I don’t put my hair up

Despite having blackout blinds during the summer the bedroom is still too light. This sleep mask really helps in that it completely blocks out the light and helps me to get a sounder nights sleep. I still wake up during the night sometimes but far less frequently than before. I worried that it might make me hot having it on but it doesn’t and is extremely comfortable to wear. Would recommend.

These are great! I was suffering with my eyes coming open whilst I was asleep which resulted in very sore eyes. These are lovely and soft and you can adjust the strap so they are just help loosely over your eyes. As they are silk they are beautifully soft. They also keep out the light if I wake up early and the bedroom is too light. I’ve bought two more pairs!
