With so many different options out there, I had to share why this is the best and give them a boost. Sturdy, well made, and easy to assemble out of the box. The wheel is heavy rubber and grips the floor well, the curve on the wheel allows you to hit all kinds of angles rolling back and forth to hit different muscles. The bar is extremely strong, heavy metal. The handles are comfy and soft which matters a lot after just a few reps. It also works more than just abs. Woke up the day after my first use and arms, shoulders, back, and abs were all feeling sore. Curvy/heavy people (and men!) this one definitely holds up. Great value, great product.

Perfect ab roller
This is the perfect ab roller. As usual on Amazon, I was scouring all the options for this daily-use item, painstakingly narrowing them down, cursing the fact that I was spending so much time investigating the minute differences and reviews of some daily item which, in previous decades, I would have just bought at Target and got what I got (it was a simpler time). And in that process, I almost got something far more expensive than this ab roller. But then I chose this, and it is perfection. It’s well made, sturdy materials, weighty in the hand so you know it’s not flimsy; but certainly not too heavy or anything. Rolls smoothly. Love that it has one wider wheel, as opposed to two wheels – there is no substitute for balancing all your body weight on one wheel. Overall perfect size. Comfortable, wide handles. Grippy tread on the wheel. Even the knee pad – when I saw it I thought it looked thin and small, but when I used it, it was just big enough for my knees (I’m 5’11” and 200lbs) and SO COMFORTABLE and stabilizing. So, overall this item far surpassed my expectations, which is so nice in a day when so many things are cheaply made junk. Hopefully this review will save you the trouble of doing all the research I did. Just buy this!

Work great
This product is great, easy to assembly, and rolls well. The only thing I would recommend the company looks at to improve, would be using denser foam for the hand grips, they are a little soft, so I’m not sure what the durability will be. The knee pad is good, but the foam could be denser. The weight and width of the wheel surface makes it very stable. I have stale flooring and it handles the rough surface very well. I would recommend this product, your abs will get a great workout from it.

Smooth and sturdy!
Great ab roller and super easy to setup. I’ve seen others say the metal bar is “too long” so the handles do not slide all the way against the wheel. Guys, this isn’t rocket science. You just need to push with force when installing the handle grips. It will get to the wheel. I’ve used this roller about 3-5 times a week for a month now and have not experienced the grips to slide off the metal bar. It has a smooth rolling motion with no play.The pad it comes with is not the thickest, but I look at this as a throw-in. It does the job for what it is and it has good grip so you won’t slide around on a hard surface. If you want something with more padding, I would suggest getting one of those gardening knee pads at your local gardening center. Overall great purchase. Simple and effective. Your abs will be on fire.

Easy to use, smells like cancer
I bought this ab roller because it had good ratings and was at a good price. It was easy to put together and seems sturdy. But the foam knee mat that came with it has a very strong, unpleasant chemical stink. I’ve been letting it air out on the porch. Hopefully it gets better. A little worried about whatever chemicals are in it to make it smell that way, though.

This ab roller is fantastic. It’s well-built and you feel completely confident in the solid structure of the steel bar and extra thick plastic wheel. I find the grips very comfortable and love the fact that they cover the entire handle. The mat doesn’t seem like much but it’s actually extremely effective and provides great cushion for my knees on hardwood.

Well made, durable construction is obvious upon initial view, and even more so upon use. Nice wide wheel helps keep you in line when going to fail. Aesthetically, it’s a actually a sexy looking piece of exercise equipment; yellow and black design, angular tread and even the internal wheel well – I didn’t think this was possible such a simple device. Careful thought was put into the construction of this wheel.I’ve had a wheel before and it’s gave me an awesome 12 pack. In my opinion, crunches, bicycles, hip raises, fifer scissors, or any other type of ab exercise simply don’t compare to the wheel. It’s the ultimate isolation exercise. Make sure you have adequate knee padding. The included knee pad is a nice bonus, doesn’t quite cut it for me (I use a pillow – anything less and my knees feel shredded), but it might be fine for you. Great buy.

Searching for one of these on Amazon is difficult given the variety of ‘brands’ and options out there. I found this to be the best quality whilst covering the core fundamentals (and no gimmicky counters / timers). Recommended.
