I’m in the camp that doesn’t think that scratches “add character“ to my watch
I’m a fan! This is the same type of protection film car dealerships place on the door edges of new cars and sometimes a bra. Even in Vegas with 115° summers, they hold up well. The only thing lacking in the kit is detailed instructions. Here is a picture of my set up. I used a magnified visor, which helped a lot in seeing the stickers.I first washed the watch and after drying, I made sure it was completely clean with some isopropyl alcohol. It helps to place your watch in a bolster before finding a good way to hold it so you can use both hands. I saw a video of a woman expertly, placing the stickers and using the tip of her nicely done fingernail to pin one end of the sticker down while she released the tweezer, which slightly sticks to the sticker being placed. Not having fingernails myself, I use the tip of a guitar pick to pin it down. After it was placed properly, I blotted it with the supplied cloth and then squeegeed it with the same guitar pick. After a good 48 hours, they are all but invisible. I’ve worn it every day for the past two weeks and there is no lifting or peeling and the edges of the stickers and theyappear free from adhesive around the edges that could collect dirt or lint. A lot of the success is preparation, placement, and letting the product set for at at least 24 hours. I appreciate the price, which is less than half of most brands that market it in packages that rival the box you watch came in. So this is a good value. A note to the maker.: there is enough room on the sticker backing to have added an extra set of clasp stickers. A clasp is probably the most worn part of most watches and doing that would be a nice gesture, which would be appreciated. I’m sure.

Mixed Feelings; Decent Protection but Not Ideal for Long Term Use
At first glance, this watch protection kit seemed great. Most of the stickers are nicely precision cut, and they fit well over the curves and edges of the watch. The film is clear, thin, and barely noticeable once applied. However, after a few weeks, some of the corners started to lift. It seems that not all the edges were rounded properly, which eventually caused parts of the film to delaminate on their own.Another issue I noticed was how poorly the adhesive holds up when exposed to salt water. Even brief exposure causes it to break down. It actually traps a bit of that salty moisture underneath the film, which can lead to minor rusting over time. Definitely not something you want happening on a nice watch.Visually, it also gives the impression that you never peeled off the factory stickers, so it is not the cleanest look. Overall, it is decent for short term protection, such as during travel or rough use, but I would not recommend leaving it on for long periods or taking it near water. Use sparingly.

Good Protection
Kind of a pain to install but once in place it works great. Follow directions. Clean watch, hands, working area and take your time. I suggest using real tweezers instead of the provided with the kit.
