Difficult to remove, but you can charge without removing the case
This case has some flaws, but since there are really no better alternatives they really are the best option currently. The plastic encases both the body and the glass screen, so you get good all around protection. It also came with a charging adapter so you can indeed charge the watch without needing to remove the case. However, similar to cases for earlier generation Pixel watches this is quite difficult to remove. The case isn’t water proof, so water can get in between the watch face and the case and create bubbles. You have to remove the case to wipe up this liquid, and its a struggle each time until the plastic loosens up. When this happens you trade in some protection (case can easily pop off) for convenience of easy removal. Aside from that, it is a functional case that inexpensively does its job.

I ordered these 2 cases more for the charging adapter than for the cases as I have other PC cases in colors I’ll be more likely to wear. With that said, I tried these on my Pixel Watch 4 45mm, and they fit perfectly. They easily snap onto the watch without causing any visible marring to the watch’s surface. They are just as easy to remove. Easy to remove, but they won’t come off by themselves. You definitely have to snap them off, which is good.Unlike TPU cases, these PC cases have a piece of glass covering your screen. That glass is totally transparent! With TPU cases, I’ve always found them to have some sort of cross-hatching, or basically a visible texture to the clear part that protects your watch crystal. Sometimes it’s barely noticeable, and sometimes it’s very noticeable. With glass though, you don’t have to worry about any texturing or cross-hatching. It’s just perfectly clear.All the cutouts aligned properly with the watch. The back button was easy to press. The speaker cutout is properly placed. And, the reason I really ordered this, was for the charging adapter. With the PW4, the factory charger contacts the watch via 2 pins on the side of the watch. With most any of these types of cases, when the case is on the watch, the pins on the charging stand can’t reach the pins on the watch, and your watch won’t charge while its in the caie. With the adapter in place, you just place the watch onto your charging stand and the watch snaps into place. it will magnetically line up and start charging, similarly to if you had no case on at all. When you remove the watch from the charger, the adapter stays firmly affixed to the stand, which is good!!!The only negative I can say about these cases, and quite frankly all PC cases for the PW4 is that since the glass is totally flat, and the watch’s crystal is domed, the glass really only touches the crystal towards the center. As the dome curves downward, it gets further away from the glass, leaving a small gap. You really cannot discern the gap, but it’s there. That gap make touches to the watch a bit more difficult towards the perimeter of the screen. When I say more difficult, it’s minimal, but there. If a touch to a bare screen needed lets say a 1 out of 10 in regards to pressure, then with the case on, you need to tap at lets say a 2 out of 10 or possibly a 3. I’m used to this now so I guess I’m always pushing at a 2 or 3 all of the time, at all locations on the glass, center or perimeter.

The fit is pretty tight which is nice that it doesn’t fall off easily. It might have been better to have a little more flexible material on the case to make installing and removing easier. The touch works ok through the screen protector but it is noticeably less sensitive than without the protection. The charger adapter included fits and the charging works as normal. Overall it’s a good protective cover, but over time dust and water will get in and I’ll have to deal with that.

The Liuyuxi case offers solid protection and is convenient as a 2-pack, but minor fit and touch sensitivity issues prevent it from being perfect. Good for safeguarding your watch, but not flawless in everyday use.
