Inexpensive and accurate
I strapped this to my chest at the same time as a Garmin HR monitor. The readings are the same. I could not get the Garmin to connect to Rouvy cycling app. iGP Sport connects easily to Rouvy.

I wore the HR monitor around the house to see how well it works and was very impressed. I watched my HR go up and or down in real time in the igpsport app. Can’t wait to use it during my next ride to see my HR data on the bike computer during my ride and after my ride on the app. It is way better than the HR monitor on my watch which has a delay when measuring HR.Happy in NM

works as it should and at a very reasonable price. I first purchased this brand because I urgently needed another monitor as my more expensive one just stopped working. I did not have the money to replace it so I got one that I figured would be good enough until I could get the other more expensive one. Well this one is designed better so changing the battery is simple. The original had a strange chest strap but this strap is the kind I prefer. It works without any issues except on very long rides in high heat. Most my rides are under 3 hours and never had an issue. But on a recent longer ride of nearly 6 hours The reading was all over the place. When you sweat enough and the salt builds up it does something to the conductivity. After the ride I had heard that this happens with other monitors as well and that you should rinse off the strap which I did and hung it up to dry. The next day I went on a two hour ride and the readings were solid as they always were. I will start soaking the strap in clean water and hopefully removing all the salt. I am considering using distilled water from time to time which will more effectively remove the salt but I had solid results with just tap water.
