Works as intended
I got this to help with pushups even though it’s advertised as a pull up bar. I attached it to the walls of my door frame, and the great thing I love about this bar is that I attach it either as low or high as I want. So, to help myself and others train pushups who can’t do pushups yet, I have it set to a certain height on the door frame and slowly bringing it lower until we’re able to do a push up on the ground.I have also tried it for pull ups and it works just as great, but I have an actual pull up bar already, so I don’t need to use this for that. The durability is great as it doesn’t seem to budge no matter how much weight is on it, as I am 180lb. The screws on the side make it easy to attach on the door frame since all you have to do is just tighten it until it’s solid.

Excellent Heavy-Duty Bar—Rock Solid Stability for Home Workouts!
I recently decided to get back into upper body strength training, starting with dead hangs, and my absolute primary concern was safety and weight support. I am happy to report that this door pull-up bar is heavy-duty and easily supports my 230 pounds with zero concern about slippage or instability.Rock Solid Performance:Exceptional Safety & Stability: The bar itself is heavy, and that substantial weight translates directly into confidence. The no-screw installation relies on a robust internal mechanism, featuring a reinforced lock sleeve and an anti-rotation design. This engineering ensures the bar stays firmly put in the door frame, even when actively bearing my full weight, providing incredible peace of mind.Comfort and Fit: At 5’6”, I find the bar’s diameter to be perfectly adequate and comfortably padded for an excellent grip. It fit easily into my standard closet door frame, which made installation quick and stress-free.Bottom Line:This is the ideal piece of equipment for safely starting an upper-body routine. If you are a heavier individual or simply need dependable, commercial-grade stability for your home gym, this bar delivers on its promise. It’s a high-quality product that gives me the confidence to focus purely on my workout progression.

Works as Described, and Space Saver too
This doorway pull up bar is ideal for someone with limited space, or would like to take it while traveling as it can fit any doorway width of 27 to 36 inches. The quality is very good, the functionality is as mentioned, and the padding offers a comfortable grip. I would say that it’s a good value for money spent as it provides a good workout effectiveness. The only reason I’m knocking of one star is that you do need to twist the rod fairly tight, if not then it doesn’t feel as secure as it should, other than that, I think it’s a good workout tool to add to your collection.

Great!
While the all-black color scheme is slightly different from the box and product video (no red trim here), we’re pleasantly surprised how much we all like this pull-up bar.The bar is very sturdy when properly extended and locked and is easy to put up and take down, especially after a few practice rounds. (Not sure what the other reviewer did: the bar works really well for us!) The default frame grip hasn’t left any marks on our doorframes, and we haven’t bothered to try the pair of white pads that seem to be provided for extra door protection (they seem like they might add risk of slipping). The levels on each end are a nice touch, but frankly don’t seem to be finely tuned enough to make a big difference from eye-balling it.The padding on the bar is subtle and just about perfect: it adds a tiny bit of grip without getting in the way.Note that this bar won’t fit in narrow doorways like you might have with a closet or bathroom, and that almost deducted a star, but the bar fits great in standard 30-inch interior doorframes and seems to deserve the elusive 5-star rating. This one is a keeper.

High quality, very strong pull-up bar
I am 200 lbs and this bar holds me without any problem. It doesn’t even flex when I’m using it.Very easy to install, although it does help to have someone hold it while you align it in the door frame. The provided pads help protect the paint, and help hold this bar in place very well. This comes with English and German instructions – feels like a very well made German product.I also love the padded texture of the bar. As you can see from the pics, I’ve installed it in the frame in a way that allows the door to close, which means it’s never in the way.Love this thing.

Not Secure. Be Careful!
I was excited to use this product, but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. The instruction manual is straight forward on how to install and use the product, but the actual set up is horrendous. The manual states that you have to continue to twist the ends of the product for it to fit tight within your doorway. There comes a point where you cannot twist the product anymore and that’s supposed to be the point you can begin to perform your pull ups. Unfortunately, the bar is not secured at all at that point.I tried to hang on the bar to test how secure it was and the bar just slid down from the place I installed it. The quality of the bar is decent, it just doesn’t work.I would not recommend this item at all. If you decide to ignore my warning and buy this item, please do not attempt a pull up without testing it first. You will definitely injure yourself

durable, stable, and ability to put up or take down with ease
Checks all the boxes one would like when buying a doorway pull up bar… easy to assemble, love how it came with rubber inserts to not damage inside of door frame, perfect size to take down and place neatly in a drawer, and very stable- held in place from my kids swinging on it like monkey bars to my 200 plus pound brother doing pull ups on it.

Very impressed with this pull up bar so far. My doorframes are very narrow and most bars i looked at wouldn’t fit. However this arrived yesterday, the installation was super easy. Simply twist the bar to extend or shorten it, then twist back to tighten onto your doorframe. The grip is soft and comfortable on your hands and so far theres been no movement when I’ve used it. I can’t comment on heavier weights as im 54kg, but for me it works great. For the price, I’d definitely recommend it.

The foam on the handles is soft but firm enough to prevent blisters, though it absorbs sweat quite a bit. Assembly was straightforward, involving a few bolts, and the tools were included. It is easy to take down and store in a closet when guests come over. The only limitation is that it requires a standard door frame; it didn’t fit on my wider living room entrance. For a piece of home equipment, it feels safe and reliable.

Comes in its own box with a picture of the product in the side,In the box there is the bar and instructions, this is very easy to assemble just out up to the door and pull the sides out till it fits in the door frame, the sturdiness of the item feels very good and can hold weight,It functions just how it should but the only thing im a bit worried about is that over time this could fall after so many uses if not installed correctly, and could hurt so safety is a small issue but it seems to be doing the job so far.

This is a great piece of home exercise equipment if you can find the right place – we found it surprisingly difficult to find a door frame with a wide enough flat surface to place the supporting pads securely, and of course you then can’t close the door without removing the bar. But it’s simple to fix and easily repositionable, and in the end, we found a solid bit of corridor wall that works. If you can find somewhere, you won’t regret having this – even if you can’t manage a full pullup, just hanging is great for your spine, and there are lots of other exercises you can use it for, depending on how high you place it.This is well made, as you’d expect from Rhinosport, strong, easy to fit – and so far it hasn’t marked our walls.

The pressure you apply to the doorjamb by rotating the bar is incredibly powerful. A 360° locking buckle, which secures the bar and prevents rotation, makes it impossible for it to move or slip. Thanks to the extra-thick foam pads included in the product’s outer packaging, the bar remains firmly secured, ensuring no marks or damage to the door frame or paint. This is a crucial feature for those working out at home. A small spirit level system on either side of the bar ensures correct and safe alignment before bending. The thick, non-slip, and sweat-absorbing foam on the handle prevents irritation or calluses on your hands during long workouts. Not only can you use the bar for pull-ups, but you can also use it for push-ups, sit-ups, or triceps exercises by mounting it low. When adjusted correctly, it’s one of the most reliable bars on the market.
