Not as expected

A very heavy and very soft blanket, but not really big enough to be for a queen size bed.
We got the 15lb queen size weighted blanket. I have no experience with weighted blankets I was a bit dazzled by how heavy it is. It does weigh 15 lbs. as stated. It is extremely soft on both sides. The third picture has it partly folded over to show the texture of both sides.I wouldn’t really say it is a queen-sized bed blanket because the dimensions just match the top of a queen-sized bed as shown. to be used as a blanket for two people in a queen-sized bed it should be able to hang over the sides and the foot of the bed.It is very warm and for us too heavy for sleeping, but if you want a soothing, comfortable blanket to cuddle up in while you watch TV or take a nap I think you would be pleased with this.Because of the weight, bulk, and thickness I would hesitate to put it in our washer and dryer. It is heavy as is, and if it was soaking wet I can’t imagine how heavy it would be. When it needs it we will be taking it to a laundromat.
