Massaging roller feels good warm or cold
This massage roller ball is a great product; it helps massage sore muscles. It rolls smoothly and fits nicely in my hand, contains a leak-resistant seal, so you can use it chilled for long-lasting cooling or warmed for soothing comfort.I prefer a warm feeling it make me more relaxed and comfortable, especially this winter season. It looks and feels durable, the ball rotates freely in all directions for easy gliding. The product come with two packets of magnesium cream lavender and eucalyptus; I have only tried the lavender magnesium cream, it has a strong menthol scent that can be overpowering at times. The cream also provides the typical cooling effect and I’m very pleased with this product. I would recommend it.

Roller ball works well
Last night I was at a postcard writing event to get out the vote. Besides my hand being cramped from writing, my shoulder has a knot in it from the way I must have been sitting. This morning, I am achy so I opened up this massage roller ball to give it a try.Inside the box I found the stainless steel ball inside its plastic housing and two packets of magnesium cream (lavender & eucalyptus). The directions are on the side of the box. The plastic housing also has a removable silicone band around it for a better grip.I did not use the magnesium cream. I’m not keen on the scents of eucalyptus and/or lavender; plus, I wasn’t sure how magnesium or any other ingredients would interact with the prescription medications I take. I needed to see the ingredients and found a list on the back of the packets. However, the type is so small that I needed a magnifying glass to see them (I’ve included a magnified photo of them in this review so others can see/know). I’ve since looked up interactions and I shouldn’t have a problem; further, it appears that a topical cream is less likely to cause interactions with oral meds (caveat… talk with your doctor if unsure). IMO, if you sell something with ingredients, they should be easily read and/or listed on the website for people that take meds or have specific allergies to make an informed decision.I’d like to thank the other reviewer that included a video. I did not realize that the ball can be pushed out of the housing via the hole on the bottom – duh, I kept trying to unscrew the housing to no avail. When I tried the roller just out of the box, it was already cold and felt good on my hand and shoulder; however, I really wanted to try heat. I popped the ball out and put it in a bowl of water boiled from the teapot. I let it sit for about 15 minutes, spilled out the water, then let it sit another 15 minutes until I could touch it. I then popped it back into the housing and gave it a go… it felt great!I’ve used a hard ball to roll on my aches before; however, the housing on this product makes it so much easier to do. I didn’t freeze it, but it worked well out of the box (because it was already cold) and functioned very well while hot. It did help relieve the pain in my hand and I’m still working on the shoulder. I’d like to suggest including a drawstring bag for storage, keeping it clean, and portability. The price point at ≈$28 is on the high side compared to other stainless steel roller balls; however, most others don’t come with the cream.

Works well on tight muscles.
This is a great massage tool for achy or tight muscles! It’s perfect sized for holding comfortably and for getting into most of the areas it’s needed. I have ongoing neck issues and would sometimes use a tennis ball to massage the back of my neck and skull, but it would get caught in my hair sometimes. This is so much better and works great! The ball is stainless steel and perfectly smooth, so no worry about it snagging things, plus it rolls so easily! It can be used room temp, hot, or cold. The cold feels the best to me. It also comes with the two samples of recovery cream, a nice added bonus. I think it’s worth the price since it should last forever and is of very good quality.

The cold roll feels amazing after workouts—and it doesn’t slip out of your hand
I’ve been using this a few times a week after runs and longer walks, mostly on calves, quads, and shoulders. The stainless steel ball glides smoothly and the silicone grip is a bigger deal than I expected—it’s easy to control pressure without the thing shooting out of your hand. The cold performance is legit. I left it in the freezer for a couple hours and it stayed cold through multiple short sessions over the evening. I also tried the warm option (warm water, not boiling), and it’s nice when you want something soothing instead of icy.The included magnesium cream sachets are a nice bonus for slip and scent (lavender/eucalyptus), though I wouldn’t call them essential since the roller works fine on its own. Overall it’s compact, well-made, and gets used way more than my old hard massage ball.

Out of the box it feels like a very high quality tool. The stainless steel ball is heavy and rolls smoothly. The silicone grip makes it easy to hold onto and apply pressure without it slipping out of my hand. The ball itself feels cool to the touch even at room temperature. You can warm it up by soaking it in hot water or cool it even more by keeping it in the freezer. My go to is leaving it in the freezer. It’s really soothing to use on my legs after a long run. It’s also a good size for getting into smaller areas like my neck, shoulders, and the bottom of my feet.It also comes with two small packets of magnesium cream as a bonus, which is a nice touch. It’s especially useful for those really tight/sore areas.Overall, it’s well made and durable. As someone who tries to exercise every day, I’ve enjoyed adding this into my post exercise routine. It just feels really good on my tired muscles.
