Does the job
Not much to say. Solid quality, does the job with great grip. It’s a lightweight jump rope and is durable. I’m 5’7 and it’s perfect. I do wish it was just a slightly longer but it’s not a big issue. Overall it’s a solid jump rope.

Amazon Basics R O C K S !
My shattered shoulder after years of PT seemed hopeless. But I decided to go at it on my own with Amazon Basics equipment seeing as I can’t afford all that expensive stuff and have been rewarded with much extended range of motion and my Morphine can actually help with the pain now. Whereas for decades I just took the Morphine and wished it helped with the pain. I swear by all Amazon Basics products from their Panties to Toaster to Cables of every kind to Exercise Gear. It’s all fantastic stuff!

They’re fine
I’m not sure why this is rated so highly. They are OK. I am 6′ and I wish the rope was just a touch longer. The handles have ball bearings that rattle a bit inside, but what do you expect for a $5-6 item. This jump rope is fine, especially if you want to see whether you’ll use it or not.Someone else in my family bought a weighted set, and it felt much nicer than this, but probably costed 3-4x more.

I’ve been jumping rope since 2012. I skip 7 days a week. Usually 3,000 skips a day but sometimes 4,000 or even 5,000. I use my Amazon rope and a lighter Decathlon rope on alternate days. The Amazon rope has lasted me 4 months already (so 2 months of actual use). It’s still in good shape. The foam on the handles is intact. The handle bearings are fine. There’s no rust. So the build quality is excellent. I also like this rope because it is slightly heavier than the Decathlon rope. Like a heavy flywheel it allows me to skip steadily on all kinds of surfaces (good momentum). Because of the extra weight it also works out the arms and shoulders better. Highly recommended.
